Alpin Rider Center was born from a genuine passion for river sports and the mountains , cultivated over years directly on the river and among the peaks of Valsesia. We are not just an outdoor center , but a meeting point of skills and experiences that have also given rise to internationally recognized companies such as Exo Kayak and Kayakshop.it .
Here , the outdoors isn't a product to be sold, but a way of experiencing the area: rivers, mountains, and people are at the heart of every activity, with the aim of offering authentic experiences, guided by those who truly understand the water and the mountains.
WHY "ALPIN" and MOLLIA?
The name Alpin doesn't originate from mountaineering, but from a historic river kayaking competition: the Alpin Sprint, one of the most famous races on the Sesia River, which finished right where our Center stands today. This is also the origin of the "Alpin Sprint," the non-alcoholic shot given to rafters in memory of that challenge.
Mollia is no coincidence: it's home to the Mollia rapids, considered the most difficult and spectacular on the Sesia River, as well as the race's historic landing point. Add to this its proximity to Alagna Valsesia and direct access to a mountainous area rich in hikes, trails, and outdoor adventures.
THE VALSESIA
The Valsesia is known worldwide as one of the temples of river kayaking , thanks to the variety and difficulty of its routes. The international fame of the Sesia River also entered the collective imagination thanks to the historic Sector advertisement , which showed kayaker Shaun Baker tackling the Sermenza waterfalls and the Devil's Slide of the Sorba stream.
Over the years, legendary competitions like the Teva Extreme and the EXO EXTREME RACE have cemented the valley as a hub for extreme kayaking. Even today, every spring, kayakers from around the world flock to Valsesia to test their skills on spectacular, technical, and challenging streams, making this area unique for those who live and love whitewater.

Alagna Valsesia is a symbolic place in the Alpine region, a natural gateway to Monte Rosa, Europe's highest mountain range. Surrounded by a pristine environment and authentic Alpine culture, Alagna has always been a hub for mountain sports, from high-altitude hikes to mountaineering and more dynamic outdoor activities.
