TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Scope of the Agreement
Alpin Rider Center (legally Valsesia Outdoor ssdrl, hereinafter "the Center") organizes and provides guided outdoor activities (Rafting, Hydrospeed, Kayaking, Canyoning, etc.). Booking an activity implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility and Participation Requirements
By accepting this contract, each participant declares under their own responsibility:

Swimming skills: To be able to swim in open water and not have a fear of water.

State of health: To be in good health, not pregnant, and not suffering from any cardiac, respiratory, neurological, or motor conditions that could compromise their own safety or that of the group.

Substances: Not to have consumed alcohol, drugs, or medications that could alter reflexes or psychophysical state in the 12 hours prior to the activity.

Minors: Minors may participate only if authorized or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
3. Guide's Authority and Safety

The Guide is solely responsible for technical safety.

The participant agrees to strictly follow every instruction given by the Guide before and during the descent.

The Center reserves the right to exclude from the activity, without any refund, anyone who does not comply with safety rules or engages in disruptive or dangerous behavior.
4. Weather Conditions and Water Levels ("Sesia" Clause)
The Sesia River is a natural environment not regulated by dams.

Technical Safety: The Technical Management of the Center reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the scheduled river section if weather conditions or water levels are deemed unsuitable for safety.

Refunds for natural causes: In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (unsuitable water levels), the Center will issue a Voucher of equal value valid for 12-24 months or arrange an alternative date. No monetary refunds will be provided for travel or accommodation expenses incurred by the user.
5. Booking and Payment Methods

The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of payment (full or deposit) via the Wix platform (Stripe/PayPal/Bank Transfer) or bank transfer.

The balance must be paid before the start of the activity, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy (Consumer Code)
Pursuant to Art. 59, letter n) of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure services that specify a specific date.
Cancellation by the customer:

More than 7 days from the date: Full refund (minus handling fees).

Between 7 days and 48 hours from the date: 50% penalty.

Less than 48 hours or No-Show: 100% penalty.

Lateness: In the event of a delay exceeding 30 minutes from the meeting time, the Center reserves the right not to let the user start in order to avoid prejudicing the activity of other participants, with no obligation for a refund.
7. Equipment and Damages
The Center provides a wetsuit, neoprene boots, a personal flotation device (PFD), and a helmet. The user is required to treat the equipment with care.

Evident damage due to negligence or loss of equipment components may be charged to the user at market value.
8. Insurance and Liability
The Center is fully covered by a Third-Party Civil Liability insurance policy. Participation in the activities implies acceptance of the inherent risks associated with practicing sports in a natural environment. The Center is not responsible for theft or damage to personal items left unattended or taken on the river (e.g., cell phones, GoPros, glasses).
9. Image Rights
The participant authorizes the Center to publish for promotional purposes (Website, Social Media, Brochures) photos or videos taken during the activity, unless explicitly denied prior to departure.
10. Jurisdiction
For any dispute, the competent court is the Court of Genoa.
